Quarry Skills Certification Scheme
The Quarry Skills Certification Scheme (QSCS) provides for training, assessment, certification for personnel in the quarrying sector. The QSCS was developed provide a system for training and assessing quarry workers and to provide a recognised QSCS qualification and certification.

Objectives
To familiarise the candidate with the principles involved in the safe use and operation of the relevant category of plant.
Who should attend QSCS Training
Anyone engaged in the operation of a category of mobile quarry plant included in the QSCS Plant Operators Scheme.
Please note that machinery for all courses is provided by the trainee on the trainee’s premises.
Entry Requirements QSCS Training
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, have at least 6 months experience operating the relevant plant, and must have undergone some form of Health and Safety Training.
